Let the good times roll at Universal Orlando Resort’s 2016 Mardi Gras celebration. On select nights Feb. 6 through April 16, guests can top off their day in the theme parks with a family-friendly version of the famed “N’awlins” celebration at Universal Studios Florida – featuring delicious Cajun cuisine, a dazzling parade and 14 nights of exhilarating concerts from some of the biggest names in music.

This year’s star-studded concert lineup features a diverse array of talent with something for everyone to enjoy. Headliners include rock band Fall Out Boy, teen pop sensation Shawn Mendes, GRAMMY-nominated recording artist Adam Lambert, country singer-songwriter Hunter Hayes and legendary entertainer Diana Ross.

Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras continues this weekend with a musical performance by award-winning country group The Band Perry on Saturday, April 11.

The Band Perry, comprised of siblings Kimberly Perry, Reid Perry and Neil Perry, rose to fame with their quadruple-platinum song If I Die Young, their platinum song You Lie, and their No. 1 Billboard Hot Country song All Your Life. Combining country, pop and rock sounds, the musical trio has continued their success by winning multiple CMT and CMA awards, receiving Grammy and Billboard award nominations and selling out worldwide tours. Their second album, Pioneer, was released in April 2013 and produced the No. 1 singles, Better Dig Two and DONE.

Florida’s biggest party is still in full swing this weekend at Universal Orlando Resort’s Mardi Gras with a musical performance by American Idol season 11 winner Phillip Phillips on Saturday, March 28.

Phillips’ first single, Home, became the best-selling and most successful coronation song of any Idol winner. He has since had other popular singles including Gone, Gone, Gone, Raging Fire and Unpack Your Heart— all of which showcase his rugged, pop-folk vocal style. Currently, the singer-songwriter is preparing for a co-headlining tour with American rock band, O.A.R, this summer, which will feature songs from his latest album, Behind The Light.

Universal Orlando Resort announces the addition of pop duo MKTO and hit singer-songwriter Phillip Phillips to the list of popular artists performing at this year’s Mardi Gras celebration.

Best known for their multi-platinum singles, Thank You and Classic, pop group MKTO will make their concert debut at Universal Studios Florida on Friday, March 13. The group’s name stands for musical duo Malcolm Kelley and Tony Oller, as well as Misfit Kids and Total Outcasts.
