Opening Night Critters – Busch Gardens Tampa

Featuring rescued domestic and exotic animals, including dogs, cats, birds, a horse and a kangaroo, among others, this theatrical tale follows a couple of stage hands as they haphazardly find themselves in the spotlight as the human stars in an all-animal production.

Hot Dog Hall of Fame Open – Orlando CityWalk

_Hot Dog Hall of Fame Photo SelectHot Dog Hall of Fame officially opened this week at Universal Orlando’s CityWalk, becoming the latest venue to debut as part of this year’s historic expansion to the entertainment complex.

Hot Dog Hall of Fame, located across from Antojitos Authentic Mexican Food, features stadium-style seating and iconic hot dog creations from across the nation, including the loaded Chicago dog and Milwaukee brat. Universal partnered with Steven Schussler, the global culinary concept creator behind the popular Rain Forest Cafe, to bring his Hot Dog Hall of Fame concept to CityWalk.

New LEGO Globe at LEGOLAND Florida

2014.06.19_TECOGLOBE_0009LEGOLAND Florida and Tampa Electric unveiled a new 6-foot LEGO Globe next to the Imagination Zone attraction venue as part of initiatives to further education on renewable energy inside the park. Built out of more than 250,000 LEGO bricks, guests will be able to enjoy the installation along with a new interactive area that features LEGO mini-model communities. The additions to the park emphasize the use of renewable energy, reinforcing LEGOLAND Florida’s efforts on green energy education.

Summer Nights at Sam’s Kick-Off a Huge Success!

TPA_SummerNights2014_1328On Sunday night, June 22nd, Theme Park Adventure hosted its first Summer Nights at Sam’s fan mixer of 2014. More than 140 enthusiasts, haunters, and industry professionals gathered under the watchful eyes of the tikis at Trader Sam’s and Tangaroa Terrace at the Disneyland Hotel and did what we all do best – eat, drink, and network! It was one of the largest gatherings that we have had at Sam’s, and we were thrilled by the number of folks that showed up, including many first-timers, which is always fantastic!

Red, White and BOOM! LEGOLAND California
