Chef Wolfgang Puck to Create VIP Menu for Rock in Rio USA

Wolfgang-Puck-Rock-in-Rio-Las-VegasRock in Rio, the legendary music festival celebrating its 30th anniversary worldwide, has enlisted world-famous chef Wolfgang Puck to create a special hospitality menu for VIPs attending the inaugural Rock in Rio USA, coming to Las Vegas in May 2015.   Celebrating the cultures of the three themed Rock Streets within Rock in Rio USA’s City of Rock, Puck will deliver his original take on signature dishes from the U.S., UK and Brazil for the event.  This distinct dining experience is an example of the innovative, premium offerings that will be included in Rock in Rio USA’s VIP experience.

“Just like art, great music comes together with food and service to create a memorable dining experience,” said Wolfgang Puck.

Rock in Rio USA Single Day Tickets Now Available

taylor-swiftRock in Rio USA has announced the availability of single day general admission tickets for the upcoming festival taking place May 8-9, 15-16 in Las Vegas.  Single day general admission tickets are available for $169 for each date at rockinrio.com/tickets, while supplies last. Rock in Rio, the legendary music festival celebrating its 30th anniversary worldwide, will make its U.S. debut by welcoming full-set performances from some of the biggest names in music including Taylor Swift, Bruno Mars, Metallica, Linkin Park, No Doubt, Maná, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith and Jessie J, among others.

Mercedes-Benz Sponsor of Rock in Rio 2015 in Las Vegas

Rock-in-Rio-Evolution-Stage-MercedesRock in Rio has announced a sponsorship agreement with Mercedes-Benz to serve as official sponsor for the upcoming Rock in Rio USA music festival taking place May 8-9 and May 15-16 in Las Vegas. The agreement includes Mercedes-Benz having naming rights of the Sunset Stage that will be named Mercedes-Benz Evolution Stage.

The Rock in Rio partnership represents a natural build on the luxury brand’s involvement in producing consumer-facing music events, which began with last year’s groundbreaking multi-city Mercedes-Benz Evolution Tour. This year, Mercedes-Benz will further present consumers with experiences that showcase the evolution of the brand and tap into key consumer passion points.

Rock in Rio Partners with FansTang to Stream Concerts in China

rock-rio-chinaRock in Rio, the legendary music festival celebrating its 30th anniversary worldwide, announced that it has formed a long-term exclusive relationship with FansTang, a China-focused cross-platform media and analytics company.   FansTang will stream every ROCK IN RIO festival (USA, Brazil and Portugal editions presented within the agreement) in mainland China through 2021.  Thanks to this new collaboration, music fans in China will enjoy live-streamed performances by global super stars including Taylor Swift, Linkin Park, Bruno Mars, No Doubt, Mana, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, Big Sean and Metallica.

Custom video packages produced by FansTang will give Chinese fans watching via streaming media a taste of the festival’s custom-built 40 acre location, The City of Rock in Las Vegas.  Fans will also enjoy watching performances and sponsor activities taking place across three Rock Streets – themed streets that will give viewers unique cultural and entertainment experiences.

The Rock in Rio USA concert stream and custom video packages will also feature Chinese and global sponsor brand messages.  Sponsorship packages associated with the FansTang concert stream delivered in China will be sold and managed exclusively by FansTang. This agreement is also a first step into a possible expansion into the Asian market, as Rock in Rio continues to expand in the future.

Rock in Rio USA Announces Transportation Options in Vegas

vegas-monorailRock in Rio has announced transportation options for the inaugural Rock in Rio USA music festival taking place May 8-9 and 15-16 in Las Vegas. Working closely with local Las Vegas authorities, Rock in Rio has developed a plan to provide convenient access for festival attendees at a minimal impact to local residents and tourists.

With no parking allowed in the area surrounding the venue, attendees are encouraged to arrive each day by the Las Vegas Monorail, shuttle or foot:

Las Vegas Monorail – Rock in Rio and the Las Vegas Monorail established a partnership and have developed customized schedules for the Monorail in order to maximize capacity and minimize wait times. For those arriving from other locations on The Strip, the venue is conveniently located a short walk from the SLS Las Vegas and Westgate Las Vegas Monorail stops. The Las Vegas Monorail operates from 7 AM until 3 AM, with options of single ride ($5), 24-hour ($12) and 2-day passes ($22.00), but a temporary discount is available for all multiple day passes from two to seven days on https://tickets.lvmonorail. com/rockinriousa2015/.
