Manormortis is U.K.’s Newest Scare Attraction

Gourmand in The Wine Cellar at Manormortis EDITEDIn 1913, the old Haxenghast Mansion was burned to the ground amidst mysterious circumstances; now, 100 years later, the house has appeared once again, its parapets and turrets twisting up through the autumn mists in a defiant statement against science, nature and time itself.  Known locally as ‘the dead manor’, Manormortis has awoken from its slumber, and it is hungry…

REVIEW: Delirium 2013 Knott’s Scary Farm

One of the most popular mazes at Knott’s Scary Farm is Delirium, which made its debut in 2011. The twisted maze, which is the dreamchild of veteran Halloween Haunt designer Daniel Miller, returned once again this past season to terrify and freak out guests visiting the 41st annual event in Buena Park, California. Endgames: Warriors of the Apocalypse at Knott’s Scary Farm is definitely one of the most gritty, strange mazes that has been part of the Halloween Haunt lineup over the years. 2013 saw the return of the Brooke Walters/Gus Krueger spectacle that can only be described as the love child of Max Max Beyond Thunderdome and The Book of Eli. Fans love Endgames for its brash style and frenzied theme; the real question is, after this past season, is the fight-till-the-death maze down for the count, or can it last another round?

Rotten Apple 907 Home Haunt 2013

One of our favorite home haunts each year here in Southern California is Rotten Apple 907. Each season, this amazing group of home haunters puts on an extremely elaborate haunted attraction built entirely in their driveway that rivals many pro haunts, all in the name of Halloween fun and charity. This year, the Rotten Apple crew’s show was a return to last year’s haunted house (literally) theme, as they presented The Haunted Wilsley Manor II.
