Villains & Vixens Coming From Drunken Devil to Los Angeles in April

Villains & VixensDrunken Devil (formerly Drunken Devil Productions), a company based in Los Angeles with a focus on producing events in Downtown, is bringing a burlesque and magic variety show to Redline Bar in Downtown Los Angeles. This event marks the first production of Drunken Devil’s 2016 Season.

Entitled Villains & Vixens: A Vaudeville of Vexing Voodoo & Voluptuous Vices, this show will feature Drunken Devil alums Scarlette Fox (LA Sirenes) and Harley Harpurr (The Dollface Dames), performing a variety of seductive and sensual burlesque numbers, sure to delight and dazzle guests.

In addition, magicians Micah Cover (The Magic Castle) and Scott Michael (Queen Mary’s Dark Harbor, Zombie Joe’s Underground Theatre) will bamboozle audiences with unbelievable feats of magic and mystery.

The show, which features a bayou black magic/voodoo aesthetic, will be hosted by none other than the Drunken Devil himself.

Drunken Devil Productions’ The Sinner’s Soiree Coming to Downtown Los Angeles Halloween 2015

Drunken Devil Logo - The Sinner's SoireeDrunken Devil Productions, a new entertainment startup with a focus on live horror attractions and media, is preparing to bring scares to the burgeoning downtown Fashion District for fourteen days during the month of October.

Drunken Devil Productions was conceived by Matt Dorado, an entrepreneur and horror enthusiast who previously worked as a haunt producer in Santa Barbara.

Drawing inspiration from a variety of sources – New Orleans culture, vintage alcohol artwork and design, mythology, and horror cult classics – he imagined a company that would produce upscale haunted house experiences, designed to engage a modern audience.

REVIEW: Haunt S.B. 2013

Last Halloween season, rather than travel out of state to experience non-local Halloween events, Theme Park Adventure drove up the California coast to beautiful Santa Barbara to check out Haunt S.B., that city’s only haunted house attraction for the second year running. Haunter Matt Dorado and his creative team of talented spooksters took it upon themselves to blaze the trail and give the seaside community something to scream about during October. The Haunt S.B. team went to work on a theatrical concept that didn’t pull any punches; in fact, guests had to sign waivers stating that they understood it would be an interactive experience, and that there’d be physical contact involved along the way by the haunt’s actors!
