Hong Kong Disneyland Resort Celebrates 2015 Disney VoluntEARS
The 10th anniversary of Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is just around the corner. Over the past decade, HKDL has actively contributed to society by bringing happiness to different parts of the community. At HKDL, more than 7,800 Cast Members make up the resort’s different departments, with each having different kinds of expertise. The Disney VoluntEARS are a large team made up of members from these departments. Through volunteering, they spread goodwill in society and make a positive difference in their services by contributing their professional skills.
Taking place at the resort, the Disney VoluntEARS Celebration recognized the Cast Members, charitable organizations and community groups devoted to volunteer service. With participating partners, HKDL also explored its future direction for volunteerism. Officiating guests Dr. Ko Wing-man, Secretary for Food and Health, HK SAR Government, and Flora Chung, CEO of the Agency for Volunteer Service, joined Andrew Kam, HKDL Managing Director, in presenting various awards. These included the “Disney VoluntEAR of the Year,” “Disney VoluntEAR Team of the Year,” “Disney VoluntEAR of the Decade” and the award for “Disney VoluntEAR Skills-based Team,” a new program this year that recognizes VoluntEARS who integrate professional skills with volunteering. Altogether, 31 Cast Members and team representatives were awarded.

Hong Kong Disneyland Participating in Summer Fun Campaign
Hong Kong Disneyland Resort (HKDL) is rolling out the red carpet for tourists from all over the world by fully supporting the Hong Kong Summer Fun – SHOP EAT PLAY campaign organized by the Hong Kong Tourism Board. The resort is committed to promoting Hong Kong as a premium destination in the region by offering immersive, unique Disney experiences to Guests from around the world. We will offer over 5,000 gifts, valuing more than HK$1.8 million, for lucky winners in the Instant Mega Draw. Hong Kong Disneyland Resort has launched the new Coolest Summer Play, Shop & Dine Offer for Hong Kong residents to welcome the coolest summer vacation ever. The resort is moving toward its 10th anniversary celebration in September, and this special summer offer is a way to thank guests for their support. Frozen Village Coming to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort in June
This summer, from June 11 to August 30, 2015, Hong Kong Disneyland Resort will provide an exceptional summer getaway for guests, inviting them to be the first to visit the enchanting Frozen Village!
