Final Details of Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 25 Revealed
This year, Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights will celebrate 25 years of scares, screams and terror by bringing back some of the most iconic and blood-curdling stories from event history. This year’s event will feature nine disturbingly-real haunted houses, including one of the highest-rated houses ever, An American Werewolf In London. Guests will also relive their favorite sinister stories from Universal’s Entertainment Team in horrific new ways. Here’s what to expect at this year’s event:
- The return of the fan-favorite house, based on John Landis’ critically-acclaimed horror film, An American Werewolf in London – a fiercely-immersive experience that pays homage to one of the greatest lycanthropic stories ever told. The Purge Announced for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Properties in Hollywood and Orlando
Beginning Friday, September 18, the annual Purge will commence at Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios Hollywood and Universal Orlando Resort as both parks debut all-new disturbingly-real experiences, inspired by Universal’s popular franchise film series created by writer and director James DeMonaco and produced by Blumhouse Productions and Platinum Dunes.
Guests will attempt to survive the night as they are immersed in the film’s depraved world, where all crime is declared legal as part of the government’s annually sanctioned 12-hour Purge.
The Terror Tram: Survive the Purge experience at Universal Studios Hollywood will pit guests against morally-compromised citizens, who take to the streets to cleanse the country of those deemed as less desirable, without fear of retribution. Recognizing that not all citizens choose to hunt during The Purge, a newly endorsed Purge Party will welcome guests to honor this proud national tradition by watching the night’s dramatic events unfold on large video screens set up around the famed Universal backlot – until the experience quickly turns into an unforgettable living nightmare.

Freddy vs. Jason Coming to Halloween Horror Nights 25 in Orlando
Two of the most feared icons in horror film history, A Nightmare on Elm Street’s Freddy Krueger and Friday the 13th’s Jason Voorhees, will be unleashed at Universal Orlando’s Halloween Horror Nights 25 in a terrifying new haunted house. Guests will experience the ultimate battle of evil vs. evil as witnessed in Freddy vs. Jason.
Once guests step inside the “Freddy vs. Jason” house, they will:
