Knott’s Berry Farm Announces Re-Opening Date for Classic Calico Mine Ride Attraction & Renovated Camp Snoopy

The refurbishment of both iconic areas began in early January 2014. The classic Calico Mine Ride, Knott’s first major attraction and theme park industry icon, is currently undergoing an all-encompassing refurbishment complete with new state-of-the-art animatronic figures and enhanced scenery.

Knott’s and Komen Partner to Raise Breast Cancer Awareness

image006Knott’s Berry Farm and Susan G. Komen Orange County are working together to raise money for breast cancer awareness, services and research by offering a special “Pink Ticket” and limited edition specially designed “pink” merchandise from February 1 through March 31st.

“It is wonderful to see Snoopy hugging Woodstock on top of the logo for Knott’s Berry Farm for the Cure benefiting Susan G. Komen Orange County,” said Lisa Wolter, Executive Director of the Komen Orange County Affiliate. “This partnership will raise much needed funds for mammograms and breast health outreach, and it shows the warmth and caring embrace we can all extend to women and families going through their struggle with breast cancer.”

Knott’s to Add Three New Rides to Camp Snoopy

(January 2014) 2014 marks the beginning of an exciting time in Knott’s history as its treasured Camp Snoopy celebrates the big 3-0 with a complete restoration of the entire land! Today, Knott’s Berry Farm is proud to announce the three new rides coming to the land of High Sierra fun: Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer, Pig Pen’s Mud Buggies and Linus Launcher. The addition of the three new family rides, built by Zamperla, demonstrates Knott’s commitment to reinvestment in one of the most beloved children’s areas ever created.

  • Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer invites campers to “fly a kite” with Charlie Brown and soar above the land’s winding paths and babbling streams – but watch out for the kite-eating tree!  This 32-passenger adventure allows guests to sit side-by-side on 16 swings for a spin that whisks riders up to 18 feet above the ground. As the tree rises, good ol’ Charlie Brown is revealed upside down and all tied up in kite string!  Charlie Brown’s Kite Flyer will replace Snoopy Bounce.

REVIEW: Delirium 2013 Knott’s Scary Farm

One of the most popular mazes at Knott’s Scary Farm is Delirium, which made its debut in 2011. The twisted maze, which is the dreamchild of veteran Halloween Haunt designer Daniel Miller, returned once again this past season to terrify and freak out guests visiting the 41st annual event in Buena Park, California. Absolutely one of the strongest additions to Haunt in recent memory, the big question was, would it remain shocking and elaborate enough to contend with the likes of this year’s new Scary Farm offerings, including Forevermore and Miller’s new maze for 2013, Black Magic?

Knott’s Fire and Police Recognition Days 2013

image006As a thank you to all the men and women who assist in protecting life and property, Knott’s Berry Farm theme park is proud to offer Fire and Police Recognition Days. Starting Thanksgiving Day, November 28 through Thursday, January 31, 2014, Knott’s will once again extend free Park admission to all active fire and police personnel and one guest. From November 28, 2013 – January 5, 2014 up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $27 each. January 6-31 up to six additional tickets can be purchased for only $22 each.
