Peter Renaday ScareLA ParticipantAs we creep closer to ScareLA 2015, the thrills and chills keep coming as more information is revealed to fans! Just when Disney enthusiasts thought this year’s lineup of related subjects and guests couldn’t get better, we have yet another tremendous announcement to make!

Peter Renaday will be participating in the Disembodied Spirits: Voice-Over Experts panel presentation on Sunday, August 9 at 12 PM on ScareLA’s Second Stage. He will join Mark Silverman (Twilight Zone Tower of Terror) and Corey Burton (Haunted Mansion Holiday) and moderator Brady MacDonald of the LA Times to discuss their work and take questions from audience members.

An accomplished talent, Peter Renaday is well-known in the field of voice-over artists, and has been featured at Disneyland and Walt Disney World as Henry in the Country Bear Jamboree, Captain Nemo in 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, Abraham Lincoln in The Hall of Presidents, and much more. Peter was also the voice of the Ghost Host on Disney’s Story and Song from The Haunted Mansion record, which every kid in the ’70s must have owned and listened to endlessly!

Peter has also appeared in many leading roles on stage here in Southern California over the past 45+ years, including The Lion in Winter (King Henry II), Shadowlands (C.S. Lewis), The Rivalry (Abraham Lincoln), The Hound of the Baskervilles (Sherlock Holmes), My Fair Lady (Henry Higgins), and Camelot (King Arthur), to name just a few. He also was featured on General Hospital for several years as John Jacks.

Gamers may also recognize Peter’s voice work in popular titles such as Fallout: New Vegas (Dr. Henry/Easy Pete), Assassin’s Creed (Al-Mualim), Gears of War 3 (Adam Fenix), and Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty (Richard Ames); the list goes on and on!

“As a life-long Disney fan and ex-Cast Member who used to work at Country Bear Jamboree at Disneyland, I have to admit, my fan flag is flying higher than ever before, with the addition of Peter Renaday to our already-fantastic Voice-Over Experts panel presentation,” said Rick West, Founder of Theme Park Adventure and Creative Programming Producer for ScareLA. “Between Peter, Mark, and Corey, we have the supernatural and fantastic locked down, from the river banks of New Orleans Square, to the top – and bottom – of the Hollywood Tower Hotel!”
