Once again, Knott’s Berry Farm is offering free admission to the park for active fire and law enforcement personnel from November 28 to December 16, and then again from January 9 to January 31 as part of its annual Fire and Law Tribute Days promotion.
As a way of saying “thank you”, Knott’s Berry Farm extends this offer for free admission to active members of fire and law enforcement agencies plus one guest per valid ID. Branches included in this offer are: ATF Agents, Bailiffs, California Dept. Of Forestry, California Highway Patrol Officers, City, County, State and Federal Police (sworn officers and civilian employees/support staff), City, County, State and Federal Fire (sworn officers and civilian employees/ support staff), Correctional Officers, County Sheriff Officers, Ambulance Company Emergency Medical Techs, Department of the Youth Authority, District Attorneys, FBI Agents, Homeland Security, Police Explorers, Peace Officers, Probation Officers, Reserve/volunteer Fire/Law employees, Sherriffs, U.S. Forest Service Personnel, U.S. Marshals, and Wildland Firefighters.
This time of year is extremely busy at Knott’s Berry Farm, so there are very specific requirements in place that guests must meet to fall under this special offer. To double-check if you or someone you know is valid under this offer for free admission to Knott’s, visit knotts.com/promotions.
Knott’s has extended this offer for years now, and truth be told, while it is a very generous offer – it does make for a very crowded park during an already-busy time of year here in Southern California at all of the major attractions. This promotion was started when Knott’s was suffering low attendance and has continued, regardless of a huge uptick in Knott’s Season Pass holders or attendance due to the park’s wildly-popular holiday offerings. Likely, the promotion will stay around; it would be a PR nightmare to discontinue it after it all these years. We recommend planning your trip around this promotion, and if you are a Season Pass holder, late evening visits are sometimes doable; otherwise, we suggest you hit Knott’s between December 17 and January 8 to get the most out of the park’s seasonal event.
