What an Excellent Day – The Exorcist Maze is Finally Coming to Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando for Halloween Horror Nights

Exorcist at USH-HHN 2016Fans of Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights will tell you, John Murdy (Creative Director, HHN Hollywood) and Chris Williams (Art Director, HHN Hollywood) have wanted to land The Exorcist for a long time as an HHN maze property. At the same time, whenever the subject has been brought up in public, fans return the desire with enthusiastic cheers and applause. This week, that unholy wish has been granted, as Universal announced The Exorcist for both its California and Florida events.

In an interview I did with Chris Williams, he noted that the one IP he’s always wanted to have as a maze at Horror Nights is The Exorcist.

“I began entertaining that thought five or six years ago. I’m a very spiritual person,” explained Williams. “The more I thought about it, I would love to make it so scary on Saturday night, that you might find yourself sitting in church on Sunday morning!”

Knott’s Berry Farm Looking for 30 Guests to Pose as Riders on New GhostRider Coaster Trains

knottslogoAre you excited about the new GhostRider renovation taking place at Knott’s Berry Farm? Are you a super fan who’d love to get up close and personal with the coaster’s new trains? Do you have some free time this Friday, April 29th? If the answers equal a resounding “YES!” then do we have some exciting news for you!

Knott’s Berry Farm is looking for 30 TPAers to pose in the new GhostRider trains this Friday for images to be used as part of the park’s new marketing materials for the beloved wooden coaster. The photo shoot will begin at 1 PM, and is expected to last 2 – 3 hours; you must be able to stay for the entire session. Only 30 people are needed; this is an extremely limited-space opportunity that has been extended exclusively to Theme Park Adventure. We’re certain spots will fill up immediately, so do not hesitate to RSVP if you are able to do this.

Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival to Debut July 30 – 31 at Long Beach Convention Center

From the creative minds of CreepyLA and Theme Park Adventure, comes an all-new chapter in terror: Midsummer Scream Halloween Festival. This weekend-long celebration of everything Halloween, haunts and horror makes its debut July 30-31 at the Long Beach Convention Center in Long Beach, California.

Midsummer Scream features more than 100,000 square feet of event space that will showcase vendors, makeup demonstrations, stage presentations, live entertainment, a screening room, haunted attraction experiences and more.
