Posted on October 14, 2013
As we rolled up to our first serious yard display of the Halloween season – Mourning Rose Manor in Simi Valley – I was suddenly overcome by an anxious feeling welling up from my gut. Not a bad feeling – but rather, that magical wonderment that I felt each season when houses were decorated nicely, be it for Halloween or Christmas. However, a less than stellar start to the new venture last week brought operations to a halt and put the production team into a stunning damage control/reconfiguration process that is nothing short of incredible. Theme Park Adventure was asked to visit and access the newly-reworked production on the night of October 3rd and has come away with some very clear knowledge, information and observations that we want to share with our readers.

Posted on October 4, 2013
It’s hard to believe, but the gates have swung open at Knott’s Scary Farm for their 41st Annual Halloween Haunt event in Buena Park! As is customary, Theme Park Adventure was on hand, to capture images and yes, a First Night video, of the event to share with Halloween fans around the world! This year’s Haunt at Knott’s featured some tremendous new mazes as well as monsters that were more than ready to plunge fangs-first into the fog! This is not a review – those come soon enough – but more of our overall impression of Halloween Haunt 2013 as a whole…
